As pandemic restrictions drag on, eating seems like one of the few entertainments left to enjoy. In that vein, restaurant weeks are coming to both Greensburg and Pittsburgh during August.
Things might be a little different this time around, organizers say, but there still will be plenty of opportunities to dig in to some good eats.
• Pittsburgh Restaurant Week will be Aug. 10-16, when patrons will be invited to “dine out in a special post-pandemic edition to help restaurants recover.”
Restaurants across the city will offer special menus and items to showcase Pittsburgh as one of America’s top food cities, a designation it has earned from various sources in recent years.
A list of participating restaurants and other details will be posted soon at pittsburghrestaurantweek.com.
• Greensburg Restaurant Week will follow from Aug. 24-30, with indoor, outdoor, curbside and carryout options planned.
“This year is less about an exclusive dine-in experience and more about driving business back to our local restaurants,” according to an Instagram post from Think Greensburg.
