The Latrobe Art Center and Latrobe-Greater Latrobe School District Parks and Recreation are teaming up to host a creative Halloween party for kids.

Set for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the art center, at 819 Ligonier St., the evening offers children ages 5-12 the opportunity to design their own jack-o-lanterns with canvas and paint.

A pizza treat and Halloween costume contest will follow.

The party will conclude with a viewing of the animated Peanuts classic “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”

There is a fee of $20 per child.

Registration is required by visiting latroberecreation.org or calling 724-537-4331.
