Macy’s ‘Buy a Coat and We’ll Donate One’ program begins

For the seventh year, Macy’s is hosting the “Buy a Coat and We’ll Donate One” campaign in partnership with nonprofit Clothes4Souls.

For every men’s, women’s, junior’s or children’s coat purchased in store or online Wednesday to Oct. 14, Macy’s will donate a brand new coat, up to 35,000 with an average retail value of $40-$100 each, to Clothes4Souls.

Since 2013, Macy’s said it has has donated $9.4 million in coats, helping more than 235,000 people.

This year, Macy’s and Clothes4Souls plan to distribute coats in 25 communities near Macy’s stores and corporate office locations.

Coats donated through the program are donated from a variety of participating brands including: 32 Degrees, Calvin Klein, Celebrity Pink, DKNY, GUESS, Hawke & Co. Outfitter, Kensie, Laundry by Shelli Segal, Lauren Ralph Lauren, Michael Michael Kors, Nautica, Sebby Weatherproof.
