The Clarks will take the stage at Greensburg’s Palace Theatre on Oct. 19 for the band’s annual benefit concert for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region.

The band’s latest release came in May — “Between Now and Then, Volume 2,” featuring all of the original members, is a follow-up to their 2005 album, “Between Then and Now.” A “best of” compilation covering 2009 to the present, the album features both original songs and covers.

Opening for The Clarks will be the Fayette County band, Blended Reality, comprised of two brothers and their sister playing original country-tinged music influenced by country music influences ranging from Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum to Little Big Town and Johnny Cash.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westmoreland County was formed in 1975 to provide services to children through mentoring relationships. In 2001, services were expanded into Fayette County and the agency’s name was changed to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region (BBBSLR).

The agency now provides services to about 300 children per year.

Concert tickets are $25. Organizers suggest buying early, as the show typically sells out.
