A graduation party in Clairton turned tragedy early Saturday morning when four teenagers were shot.

Allegheny County Police are investigating the events leading up to the shootings at the party in the 600 block of Waddell Avenue.

The four victims — between the ages of 14 and 18 — were being treated at area hospitals listed in stable condition.

Police said they were called to the Waddell Avenue home at about 12:15 a.m. after emergency dispatchers received multiple calls reporting a shooting there.

The victims included a 14-year-old boy who had been shot in both his lower and upper extremities; a 16-year-old girl shot in the abdomen; a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman, who both suffered wounds to their lower extremities.

Police said they arrived to find dozens of people fleeing the party. Witnesses later estimated there were 100 to 125 people at the celebration when the shooting began.

No additional information was immediately available.

County Police are asking anyone with information to call police at 1-833-255-8477, or reach out via police social media sites.
