‘Makeover’ star Ty Pennington stops in McCandless to promote new book on managing his ADHD

Ty Pennington, the Emmy Award winning star of the shows “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and “Trading Spaces,” was on hand at Riverstone Books in McCandless on June 7 to talk about and sign copies of his new book “Life to the Extreme.”

The humorous book focuses on difficulties Pennington encountered after being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder while in college and how he managed a successful career while dealing with the condition.

To support the new book, publisher Harper Collins is sponsoring a $25,000 Kitchen Makeover sweepstakes that includes a personal design consultation and advice from Pennington.
