The story of Ted Bundy’s shocking crimes is all the more disturbing when told from the perspective of his girlfriend.

Viewers will witness the betrayal felt by Elizabeth Kloepfer, played by Lily Collins, as she comes to realize the man she has grown most close to will turn out to be one of history’s most famous killers.

The Netflix film is due to be released May 3 and stars Zac Efron as the handsome Bundy.

Netflix revealed scenes in a new trailer for “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile” on Tuesday.

The film gives viewers an insight into a woman who trusts a charismatic partner and how she processes the truth.

“Ted, did you do it?” asks Kloepfer.

Bundy replies with a confident “No.”

“Did you do these things, Ted?” she persists as the trailer winds down.

Bundy says, “This is all gonna end.”

“It’s only gonna end with the truth,” she answers.
